Should arranged marriages be discouraged, or even banned

IDENTIFIED ISSUE: Arranges marriages compromise the freedom and independence of individually.

 It is said that arranged marriages nowadays is a fogginess tradition and it should be discouraged, or even banned as it might compromise the freedom and independence of individually. 

-      High education and exposure to the media started to make people think and realize they do not need to be bound by tradition. They are more and more freedom and independence of individually in many aspects. One of those is they could choose their own marital partners without having reply on parents. 

-In most arranged marriages, the partners know very little about the other person. Hence they might find difficult to get along with each other after marriage. 

-Moreover, the most important aspect is the relationship between the two families rather than the relationship between the couple being married. In this case, wife could be in abusive relationship or servant. For long time, it can cause the psychology issues.

         - As arranged marriages is considered as backward tradition, however if the romantic love marriages is always ideal marriage. Let’s listen to another idea.

On the other hand, some couples with love marriages probably find bad aspects from their partner and feel depressed while those with arranged marriage still seemly feel happy because they did not expect too much for love before meeting their spouse. As a result, they try to understand and accept unexpected personalities from their partner instead of argueing or feeling disappointed as couples who fall in love each other before the marriage.

In conclusion, nowadays, some youngsters’ marriages are decided by their parents. That tendency should be discouraged and it is not so serious to be banned.
