Turkey was a parliamentary representative democracy until in 2018 a new presidential system was introduced. The change was that all the power was of the president, he can appoint his own cabinet, dissolve parliament, etc. This means, that all the thing that the prime minister can do, now just the president can do it. As it happens in Peru, the president every 5 years by the country. Turkey's constitution establishes it as a centralized unitary state (World population, s/f).

In Turkey, there are a lot of problems and violations of human rights. For example, government officials targeted LGTB+IQA people with homophobic rhetoric. Freedom of peaceful assembly has been restricted. Also, it has restricted the freedom of association for civil society organizations. This is associated with the freedom of expression that had been violated too. This is because if people from the LGTB+IQA suffer from homophobia or different rights, it means that they are not free to express what they feel (Amnesty, 2021).

In Turkey, the human violation rights girls suffer a lot of domestic violence. The announcement says that during the pandemic due to covid-19, the cases of violence against women has increased considerately. According to women’s organizations, 280 women were killed during 2021 and 217 were found in bad conditions. It is clear that women also suffer a violation of rights because they are the ones who suffer the most from this type of violence (Amnesty, 2021).

Saudi Arabia is a monarchy that is ruled by the Saud dynasty. This is a family whose status was established because of their relationship with the Wahhabi religious establishment. The primary source of legislation is the Islamic law. This law includes the norms, the criteria of their morals and what they are prohibited or allowed. Nevertheless, this country has never had written a constitution, but they have a document called The Basic Law of Government. In this document they contain the guidelines for how to rule the government and the rights and responsibilities of the people (Britannica, s/f).

In Saudi Arabia, there is a legal system that requires all women to have a male legal guardian. This guardian can make decisions over the woman. By this I mean that this guardian can decide in name of the woman. This guardian normally is the father until they get married, their husband, her brother or her son. This is very unfair for women, because they can't take decisions by themselves, not even if they are of legal age. This can be considered as lack of freedom of expression (Britannica, s/f).

Migrant workers continue to face abuse and exploitation under the state guarantee system, with tens of thousands of people arbitrarily arrested and subsequently deported. Prison authorities violated the right to health of human rights defenders and others detained after highly unfair trials (Amnesty, 2021).

The United Arab Emirates consists of seven emirates that are Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. Its constitution was founded on independence and became permanent in 1996. The form of government is like a presidential elective monarchy. The president is elected from among the absolute monarchs who rule over the seven emirates (Ziegler, s/f).

United Arab Emirates is a country that suffer a lot of issues about human rights violations. For example, the government announced serious problems like arbitrary detention, cruel and inhuman treatment of detainees, suppression of freedom of expression and violation of privacy. Also, stateless persons continue to be denied their right to nationality, affecting their access to a range of services. The court reportedly handed down the death penalty and execution (Amnesty, 2021).

In the other hand, at least 375 male and female migrant workers from Africa were arbitrarily detained overnight and taken to Al Wathba prison. They were held in solitary cells for up to six weeks in cells without adequate beds or toilets and were deported without due process or legal representation. Police and guards abused at least 18 detainees, including using racist slurs and forced nudity. Police beat and Taser detainees who resisted arrest, and shackled female detainees who refused to eat for a week. After deportation, they were stripped of their property, including ID cards (Amnesty, 2021).

According to India. Gov “India is a Sovereign Socialist Secular Democratic Republic with a Parliamentary form of government which is federal in structure with unitary features” In these country, human rights are more a dream than a reality. According to Amnesty International's 2009 World Report and other sources... people are tortured and abused in more than 81 countries. In at least 54 countries, people face unfair treatment and in aprox 77 countries people don’t have freedom of expression. Also, many women and children are marginalized (in different ways); and this brings us to another problem... the subjugation of women. (Prakash, s/f)

In India, women represent about 50% of the population. However, for them, human rights are practically denied. Infanticide (killing a child or newborn) is a terrible thing that occurs in some parts of the country, where the birth of a girl is not received. Many situations constantly put women's lives in danger, such as sexual abuse and the trade of bodies (black market). A woman can be bought and sold in the marriage market. To make this worse, justice is blind to all this. (Prakash, s/f)

Some human rights violated in the economic, social and cultural aspects are the contaminating of water (which affects the right to health) also the evicting of people that are forced from their homes (to attend to the right to adequate housing). The constant discrimination at work based on race, gender, and sexual orientation (the right to work), not paying the minimum (the rights that involve work), and, not providing maternity leave, which is related to the protection of and assistance to the family. (Prakash, s/f)

Pakistan has an asymmetric federal government, and it has elected officials at national, provincial, tribal, and local levels. Freedom of expression is one of the rights that have been violated in this country, especially for journalists and human rights defenders. Let's put a real example, Absar Alam was a journalist who, in April, was shot and injured outside his house by three men (Amnesty, 2021). Another right that is violated is the one of freedom of religion and belief and freedom of assembly. We can and must protest when we think something is not right, however, in this country you cannot. In March there was a large women's movement protesting, and they faced violence (Amnesty, 2021).

We know violence is not a good way to solve things, in Pakistan authorities use excessive force. According to Amnesty: “In April, scores of protesters were injured and at least one killed in the town of Janikhel”. In Pakistan, there is also sexual and gender-based violence which is a big problem in the country. 32% of the women in this country have experienced physical violence (UNFPA, s/f). Also, the worker’s rights are violated; many domestic workers have little or no protection against abuse. Health is also a right, so security is. As a preventive action to covid-19. The provincial government of Sindh released 64 prisoners from jails (it was the only province that did it) (Amnesty, 2021).

A super risky group in Pakistan are children. Marriage to a minor is possible. 21% of girls, under the age of 18, are already married (The borgen proyect, s/f). If we talk about education, schools are very dangerous, there are attacks. Lack of education is also present; 5 000 000 children do not have the possibility to go to school (The Borgen project, s/f). Another super risky group are women. They face rape, acid attacks, domestic violence and more. Women are often excluded from decisions and are in less power positions if we compare to man (Gender Concerns, s/f). Also a human right that has been violated is Social Security and Adequate Standard of Living, the agricultural economy is very vulnerable to climate change. It puts people at risk as they are in danger of being denied their right to food and water (Amnesty International. s/f)

There are many human rights violations in the Philippines. One of them is the LGBTI people’s rights. As an example, on September 8 people part of the community were injured when an explosive device fell in Maguindanao province during a volleyball championship. The death penalty has been reintroduced for drugs-related offenses. Other similar bills were pending in the House of Representatives and the Senate.

Children’s Rights are also at risk. The rule says that a person can legally marry only after the age of 18. However, this does not apply to Muslims. A Muslim boy can be married at the age of 15 and a woman can be "chosen" as a wife when she enters puberty. And 1 out of 6 Filipino girls are married before reaching the age of 18. According to Human Rights Watch, “Another law awaiting the president’s signature would raise the age of sexual consent to 16 years from the current 12 years”. This country has the lowest age of sexual consent in Asia... and is one of the lowest in the world. 1 out of 5 Filipino children have experienced any sexual encounter at the age of 13 to 17 (Humans Right Watch, s/f).

Another big problem in this country is the killing of Activists or Rights Defenders. Philippines is a country with 53-year-long communist insurgency and continuing in 2022. Nine people from different activist groups were killed during police raids in Calabarzon. All of them were accused of participating in communist activities. They also have as their objective the lawyers who have as clients' people who support communism. In Cebu, they killed Rex Fernandez, a human rights lawyer. And in Cotabato they killed Juan Macababbad, also a lawyer, but he worked on cases related to the environment and indigenous rights.
