What I learned about the Constitutional Convention so far is that the Constitution was made over four hot months, because the windows were shut and it was hot in there, causing more "drama". There were a lot of proposals and compromises. I learned that not all the states showed a representative to the convention. They finally came to a decision of 2 houses, one favoring population and one favoring equal 2 votes per state. One proposal was about slaves and if they could get a vote, and they came to a compromise that 3/5 of the slaves could vote.

Well from what i remember the constitutional convention took them 4 hot months to write, with a very closed room. They had their wigs and all of their garments on made of wool without an air conditioner,fan,wind,etc.. nothing but body heat. And they were very mad . A few examples about the 3/5ths are the virginia and new jersey plan, also the bill of rights.

In 1786 this was a meeting of delegates to discuss improving the articles of confederation. It took place in Philidelphia and Lasted nearly 4 months. They finally decided on four big compromises. A few examples would be the 3/5ths compromise and the american bill of rights

It took them 4 months to write a new constitution It was very hot for the colonists since they had to wear wigs and sweater like suits that covered their whole body and their was no AC so it was hot back then and the windows had to be shut so no one could spy on them when writing it.
