Knowing Max is a bad cook, they assume he fell into his soup and decide to strain it to find him. First, she learns she can't judge others based on what they have. The second lesson she learns is that if she keeps stirring the pot, the more it will stink. Jacqueline, her two older siblings and her new baby brother, make a life in New York City. It is a great book that brings to surface the realities of being a black child.</div>]]></description>

Since Flynn couldn't understand the walrus he followed his assumptions to serve the walrus's needs. When he realized he couldn't fit in his bed with the walrus, Flynn turned to his parents and asked if the walrus could sleep with them tonight. Not thinking the walrus was real, they reluctantly said yes. To their surprise, the walrus was real. <br>1-2<br>Teachers could use this as a book to read for fun during free time. It is very humorous and would give the kids a good laugh.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Little Red Riding Hood got her name because she loved the red hood her grandmother made her. Once day, her mother asked her to take her grandmother some cake because she was sick in bed. On her way there, Little Red Riding Hood was tricked by a wolf who led her off of the path. The wold got to grandmother's house first and gobbled her up. When Little Red Riding Hood arrived, the wolf was dressed as her grandmother. Before long, the wolf ate Little Red Riding Hood too. One day, hunters arrived at grandmother's house and found a wolf in her bed. They killed the wolf and opened his stomach where Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother were safe and sound.<br>K-3<br>This story is a good way to start a folktale lesson in the classroom and introduce the students to a very common folktale.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Little Red Riding Hood was very nice and kind young girl. Her mother asked her to take her sick grandmother a basket of food. On her way, she picked her grandmother's favorite flowers, grabbed some acorns, and a jar of honey. When she arrived, she noticed her grandmother was the big bad wolf. The flowers made him sneeze, the acorns made him slip, and finally the honey made the bees chase the wolf out of the house, never to be seen again. Little Red Riding Hood let her grandmother out of the closet and they enjoyed her basket of food.<br>K-2<br>Teachers could use this to introduce a fun and not s- scary variation of Little Red Riding Hood.</div>]]></description>

With this group of friends, Shannon could be whoever she wanted to be and do what she wanted to do. Her other friends got jealous and asked to be a part of her group.
