Meeting in person and virtually with the DCAs in Gallup has been awesome and helped me feel connected. The last visit was one of my favorites because it was so productive and they were so thankful and it was worth the long drive/traveling. And almost hitting a horse.

Being part of NCCE has been an incredibly empowering experience. Leading trainings has helped me grow into the kind of leader I’ve always wanted to be—confident, capable, and ready to support others. I’ve even shared with my mom how much it means to be part of an organization that values my ideas and trusts me to help others learn. NCCE has reminded me that my voice matters, my experience counts, and I’m contributing to something meaningful.

In a time when edtech in school systems seems to be under attack - or devalued, and districts are removing the supports that teachers depend on, NCCE has fed my heart and soul when the day to day in my area right now isn’t exactly the most affirming of what we know to be best practices. I’m so thankful for this community and the people in it and knowing that so many of you are just a phone call or teams message away. 💕

NCCE has allowed me to make incredible connections with fellow NCCE trainers and staff in a way that I didn't know I needed. I think of my NCCE family in the same way that I think about my own district work family, my friends, and even my family. While I don't see my NCCE family in person all that often, I know that I can easily connect with them through Teams, a text, or an email. These connections have allowed me to grow and stretch my own skills beyond anything I could have ever imagined!

NCCE allows me to step out of my comfort zone, grow, and thinks creatively. I’m thankful for everyone I have met that has added to my experience whether it’s another trainer or participants in the training because they have fed into that empowerment by expanding my skill set, knowledge, and abilities.

Just like others, NCCE helps me step out of my comfort zone as well. This year hasn’t been what I’d call my most stellar in regards to what I love to do (at my school), but NCCE really helps me stretch and feel a part of something special.
