I discovered that I strongly agreed with questions regarding getting illnesses, respecting privacy, housing, relaxing to be around, and adaptation. I believe most elderly develop poor immune systems and other health issues. However, I believe the rest follow in line with their values and attitudes. I found that I strongly disagreed with questions discrediting the level of wisdom, vocabulary, and work ethics of the elderly. This is untrue because most elderly people gain these attributes over time.
I also disagreed (slightly included) with questions dealing with power, concentration, and adaptation of the elderly.
I agreed (also slightly) with questions regarding misplacing things, absenteeism, getting occupational diseases, and remembering names.

My summary on my attitudes about practicing ageism

I hold a strong, positive attitude regarding the elderly and do not practice ageism. I believe the elderly are among the most valued and respected within society because of their wisdom and moral insight. These are qualities that are only obtained through age and experience. Practicing ageism would inhibit a person from gaining this knowledge. For example, a person may develop a bias against an older person and disregard them because the older person's views are seen as traditional and/or contradictory to their own. However, this a poor choice because the elder will have more merit to what they say and therefore more to take away and learn from. In addition, a massive amount of elderly people develop health problems with age. Diseases become more sustainable due to weaker immune systems. Other ailments might include high blood pressure, cholesterol, and/or diabetes which can easily impair someone's state or attitude. I also believe elderly people are capable of change. While some prefer traditional standards, a larger majority are sustainable to change and adapt especially in certain situations. This may include innovations in modern day technology (phones, computer systems) and medication/medical sources which can aid in prolonging life expectancy.
