Metaphorically, my serotonin level rises when I see the delight comfort presence of a dog. My escape is through music, especially Lana Del Rey's melodies. She is such an icon and my only idol. Having information literacy expertise is the foundation to thrive in life. We us individuals are able to evaluate, acquire, and utilize information with information literacy that makes us adept at certain accomplishments.

This issue falls under the social pillar of sustainability because both equity and community engagement play a role in the fall of the sneaker community. It is important to implement more realization and attention to the unnecessary overpricing shoes that people resell to others that desire the item more than ever. This topic is important to me because I love sneakers but I am also very unlucky when it comes to trying to purchase a pair due to the 

gratuitous price and the lack of availability. I hope to get more insights on why these resellers of the sneaker communities think it is an outstanding and fair game to put a needless number on some shoes. A question I have for my peers is if they have ever been into sneakers and if they have ever encountered a pair at such high cost from a reseller.

Morse goes over various issues that informs the audience about the reusing issue and difficulties they are confronting. The author demonstrates the problem by a method of imparting his place of why electric vehicle batteries are not an adequate option for the public expressing that electric vehicle batteries have a daily existence cycle. He adds on to this by mentioning that the climate becomes exceptionally poisoned due to the battery's usage being over. 
Throughout the reading, the audience can identify the areas where the author explains how some things happen and how they are done so, not to mention how descriptive the details are as well. Morse implements process analysis in the text when discussing about the recycling methods that are practiced, "To extract those needles, recyclers rely on two techniques, known as pyrometallurgy and hydrometallurgy. The more common is pyrometallurgy, in which recyclers first mechanically shred the cell and then burn it, leaving a charred mass of plastic, metals, and glues...Hydrometallurgy, in contrast, involves dunking battery materials in pools of acid, producing a metal-laden soup" (Morse 10). The author makes sure to provide concrete directions about two recycling methods that are known for recyclers who try to reuse and extract certain needles in car batteries. The way this helps Morse with his argument is that it not only does it inform the intended audience of the text, but it fortifies his strategy of delivering his message about electric vehicle batteries with important and strong analysis and description.
Though the source lacks personal information of the author for validity, the information Ian Morse provided for us is credible because he implements rhetorical strategies along with using a couple of other sources and citing them when detailing data.     • The strategy I used for reading was skimming. I previewed the text, making sure it was a source related to the topic I am doing.

    • Some difficult items about the reading process would be the scientific terminology utilized, mainly because I lacked knowledge on it.

A little over a year after the virus has beeb discovered, three vaccines were introduced to us to help combat the virus. Months after, only two were remained on the charts.
    The counter narrative: Though there are a couple of vaccines individuals can take at the moment, not all people are in favor of it. There are covid-19 cases in which the person has the virus despite the completion of doses of any of the vaccines. So, the covid-19 vaccine is not guaranteed to fully protect one from getting the virus. Also, this vaccine has only been out for not even a year yet, is it much reliable? With cases such as the Johnson&Johnson vaccine killing a handful of individuals, this scares people away from getting vaccinated. Were there enough trials involved in the making of vaccines?
    How this counter-narrative can help the problem I am writing about: With the idea of distributing vaccines to help against this deadly virus, maybe more people should at least help practice safety protocols if the case is that the vaccine is not preventing the human anti-bodies to help with the virus.
