Glaciers can be used as evidence of plate tectonics because they were once all over the place, the continents were together at that point, the only way to explain glaciers is that when plate tectonics move it caused a continental drift. Alfred Wagner discovered this field. Without plate tectonics, the southern regions would still be covered in ice.

Mountains can be used as evidence of tectonic plates because mountains began to for and caused the Earth to move around. Which caused Pangea to start splitting apart from each other. An example of if are the Appalachian, Greenland, and Scandes mountain ranges started to to form it caused plates to move to together and caused the earth to move. This impact caused climate to change in at different places. Without tectonic plates we wouldn’t have mountains or a stablelized our climate.

Fossils can be used as evidence of plate tectonics because it proves the point that the remains of the lost animals can be found in different places that are far away from each other. For example, the only way to explain the Pangaea map is that the countries had to be closer at one point because there is no way possible that the animals can swim long distance to get to the other side so the countries had to be closer to each other. Without plate tectonics we would still be neighbors with the other countries.
