I had a great childhood, I was very energetic and playful. My favorite foods were pizza and macaroni & cheese. I loved to play with my barbies, polly pockets and some videogames that my parents bought me. My first day at school was horrible. I was a crybaby and didn’t want my mom far away from me. It was very difficult for me stay at school. I had different elementary schools, but I stayed a long time in a school named Liceo Veracruzano. In junior high I went to ESUN, but at the moment it’s closed. That’s a little bit sad. And in high school I went to Tecmilenio. I don’t remember my first kiss, but I remember that it wasn’t very interesting. After school I loved to play in the computer, my sister and I had only one PC, so we fought a lot about the time we spent playing. I used to watch a lot of TV, most of it was Disney and Cartoon Network, my favorite cartoon was Pucca. It was very entertaining and cute, one of my birthdays had a theme of Pucca. My favorite music genre was pop music, a little bit of rock and some ballads. I used to hear reggaeton too, but I don't like it now.

I was born in Misantla, Veracruz. It's a small town located next to Martinez de la Torre. It has a lot of nature in general. When I was a kid I rode my bicycle a lot. Every single day I rode my bicycle to do errands or simply to visit my grandparents (I have a picture of me riding my bicycle in google maps in front of my house), I really loved that. I liked going with my grandpa to the river riding his old donkey. Every day after school I watched cartoons on TV and after that I did my homework. It was a good childhood.

I remember my childhood with much affection and nostalgia. I was an only child but I always played with my cousins Daniel and Mari. They have always been the closest to me, Daniel was born five days after me, on October 11th. Since I can remember my favorite foods have always been picadas, empanadas and pambazos. I also remember I asked my mom for sandwiches a lot. My favorite cartoons were Spongebob and the Powerpuff Girls. I really was a fan of the Powerpuff Girls especially Bubble, I had a pen and a bubble notebook that I took to school. I studied at Alejandro Molina Elementary school. My best friend at that time was called Ariadna. We always played tag, hide and seek, hopscotch among many others and that was very fun.
I have changed a lot over the years. Before, I used to listen to rock bands like Green day, Guns and roses, the Beatles and Aerosmith. Now I listen to reggaeton a little, like the famous singer Bad Bunny.
When I was a teenager I used to have long hair, now I love to wear my hair short. I have always liked to wear baggy pants and loose blouses. They're so comfortable.

I had a fantastic childhood. I was very happy as a kid. I used to wear my hair much longer with a fringe. I lived in Papantla with my grandparents and mom. Papantla is very hot, therefore, I used wear dresses or shorts with sandals. I didn't use to like doing exercise but from Monday to Friday I went to school and ballet. On weekends I played with my cousins and every Sunday we used to have a family meal with typical food.
In my childhood I loved to have pizza or tacos on Saturdays.
In Papantla I had very good friends because I went from kindergarten to high school in the same school. In high school I moved to Xalapa and at university I began to live in Veracruz.

Hello, my name is José Mendoza, I was born in Veracruz on October 11, 2004. I have lived in Veracruz for as long as I can remember. When I was a kid I spent a lot of time with my family and my sister taught me a lot of things from which I learned. I spent most of the time playing on my ds, mainly tetris. That was where my love for tetris began. I remember that when I was around 7 - 8 years old I started going to the scouts in the Reino Magico every Saturday. The first camp was held was in Jamapa, it all started around 4 in the afternoon. We did many activities and we had a lot of fun. As the hours went by it was time to have dinner. I remember that we lit a big fire and started to cook meat in the campfire. The next day I got up very early and we all climbed a mountain to have a meeting. When we finished doing the sermon we went down the mountain and we began to pack all the things that were in the campaigns. I remember that these camps happened almost every month. They were good times.

I have changed a lot over the years.
When I was a kid, I used to have my hair shorter. Now i have way longer hair.
When i was younger i didn't use to play chess. Now i use to play it a lot.

I have changed a lot over the years, and I´m so happy for that.

A long time ago; I was born in the city of Veracruz, but I traveled a lot for my father's work. Until he passed away and we moved to the city of Tres Valles. The truth;  when I was a kid I didn´t use to like to travel, but now I love to travel.
 My childhood was very quiet, because when I was a kid I used to be very quiet whit strangers, but now, I'm so much more sociable.

I remember too that, I was very friendly just with my neighbors , I really liked outdoor games and board games like chess.
My favorite food was the cakes, hamburgers, and vegetables.I really liked watching TV, in the 90's channel 5 and 11 were the best. I was a fan of jeans, a singer named Fey and also vanilla ice. Now I don´t whach tv enymore.
I have always loved music and sports.
In my childhood I had several pets and I still keep them. I currently have 4 dogs, 2 turtles and 1 rabbit and I love them.

I was born in Veracruz and my childhood was very nice. I always have been under the spot but I've never liked that.
I'm the oldest child of my whole family. When I was 6 my little sis was born and 6 months later my closest cousin.
As the only child all those 6 years, I always
received presents, had the best birthday parties, etc.
When I was 9 my parents got divorce and my sis and I stayed with my mom. With my dad we don't have a very good relationship, he's a new family, but that's kinda ok because my mom's partner it's like a dad for me.
My grand pa and uncle are also like my dad, they have been with me my entire life and I love them.

But for a while i lived in Orizaba because My mom is from there.
In fact most of My mom's brothers live there.

In Veracruz there's too much trash in the streets because the people don't clean the front or their houses.
Another problem is that people throw trash from the windows of the cars so there's too much garbaje that plugs the sewers. Maybe another problem is that there aren't enough trash cans.
I think the municipal authorities should impulse fines.
another solution would be to hire more people to clean the streets and give them better salaries.
So the best thing is to become aware and start taking local actions.

^I^{n my city, Veracruz; many things happen all the time. Citizens work every day and we are honest, respectful and generally friendly. Veracruz is a very nice city and state, it has many good things but it also has some important problems. For example: the buses are in terrible condition, very old and dirty, so there should be newer and more public transport units. There aren´t enough green areas, and there arent enough street lights.
In the city there are very few spaces for bicycles, the goverment should buil more bicycle lanes and install more traffic lights.

By the way, security in the city is also an aspect to be analyzed, especially the corruption of the police system.
It is a delicate situation but there should be less corruption and crime. But curiously, the news portal of Veracruz' government indicates that: "our state...is the second safest in the country (...) only after Chiapas." (uh-huh). On the other hand, the CNDH on its official website reports that Veracruz doesn't provide enough security for women, since it is the second state with the highest number of femicides. And that's everyone's problem.}

In Veracruz there are many problems that affect the city and its habitants. I will talk about the insecurity in streets. This problem doesn't only happen in Veracruz, it also happens in many other cities. There is too much insecurity, for example there are kidnappings, robberies and assaults in the streets.
I think there aren't enough police officers to guard the streets to can be safe. There are also some streets without streetlights and this represents a risk factor, so we need more of them.
The government should propose measures to help prevent the increase of violence and insecurity. There are a lot of bad people on the streets and sometimes we can't go out without fear, especially women.

There should be less insecurity, but we all know that will be difficult to achieve.

In Veracruz there are several problems that can be solved. For example: there is a lot of garbage in the boardwalk downtown, on the city's beaches and parks. This problem might decrease by putting more garbage cans everywhere. There are also streets in poor condition as well as very old buses that travel through the city every day polluting the environment.

Security is another very important problem in different areas of the city. The government should hire more trained police officers to reduce crime and make the city safer for all people.

Personally, I think there should be more bicycle lanes in the city. It is important to promote the use of environmentally friendly vehicles.

I living in Veracruz, is very beautiful and with too much naturality, it have a beaches and too many palms on boulevard, the kids go out to playing but are need more activities, the adult people go out to train or walkbut there should be less trash.

In Amapolas, Veracruz there's too much trash and dust, the people croos the road and the throw more trash. There are a lot of bus lanes but in bad shape, we need more traffic stop, as well as better maintenance and construction of them. On the road Xalapa-Veracruz are to many accidents in the night and the morning, we need more streetlights, speed reducers and more stricter driving tests. In Boca del Río, there are to many tourist in summer and Semana Santa, I think we need more parks and green spaces, in the restaurant we need more menus in different languages, for example english, and translators. The apartment is comfortable, nice and modern, for me it's ok, but if I want to live with my family it isn't big enough for us. My old house was bigger.
Here we don't have as many bedrooms as we used to have in my old house, over there we had 3 rooms with too much space. Also there aren't enough windows, in my old house we had fifteen windows, and we don't have a big kitchen anymore. The living room in the apartment is as spacious as my old house and it has modern furnitures; in my old house we had old furnitures.
The apartment also has a balcony, it isn't big enough but it's good to have breakfast outdoors or to go out to get some fresh air, in my old house we had a big playground with grass and some trees.

comparison about my house and my apartment:

I have been living in a apartment since I came to study here in Veracruz, this apartment has everything I need to live but some places are not as spacious as my old house, for example the bathroom and my bedroom. My old bedroom is better than this one because it has much space and it´s the same case for my old bathroom. In my old bedroom I used to play piano as much as possible but now I don´t have the enough space to play piano. My new kitchen is better than the old one because it is bigger and I like how it looks like. In summer I miss my old house because it has more windows and there is more nature around, so it is a cooler place. Talking about prices the house is not as expensive as the apartment, because it belongs to my parents so we don´t have to pay anything.

I live with my grandparents and my mom, we live in Boca del Río Veracruz. I think my house is not as big as the apartment. Well it depends on the apartament, so my house have four rooms, one kitchen and two bathrooms. The yard is big. Normally it's very quiet, but when my nephews come is too noisy. By the way, each bedroom is spacious and comfortable. My bedroom is painted white and has large windows. My bedroom is as cool as my grandparents. In general the house is cool. Hello, its me, Cecilia and I have some news. Well I moved to my aunt's house, and unfortunately I didnt have enough space for my things.
Although it's as spacious as my previous house, it doesn't have as many rooms. In my aunt's house it's too noisy and not comfortable enough. My mom's house was smaller than my aunt's, but it was quieter.
My mom's kitchen is not as big as my aunt's.
The bathroom in my new home is more spacious than that in my mom's house. However, my aunt's house doesn't have enough windows and doors. There isn't enough privacy.

The news are that I will stay at my house for a long time. Before the pandemic starts I moved here to my grandparents' apartment. The kitchen is as cramped as the apartment but at least for me it's comfortable. The beedrooms are way bigger than the apartment now I can place all my stuff.
Normally it's very quiet and safe. One of the good things is that it's located in the center of Veracruz. My new home is a red apartment with two floors. And as for the bathrooms there are more here than in my old house.

This celebration is on november 2 and its my favorite celebration of the year.
This date is celebrated by all mexicans in the country and also by mexicans outside the country.
When the altar of the dead is made there is a lot of varieties of food can be found food like: tamales,tequila,chilaquiles, tacos, tortas, mole, pozole. Food is placed,wich the person loved when he was alive.
Also placed on the altar is a photo of the love one who died, candy skulls, dead bread, candles and cempasuchil flower.
