The term was first created in Neal Stephenson’s 1992 since fiction novel Snow Crash. The concept appeared in the movie Matrix as well. Metaverse is also the most potential idea of the future technology sector in the stock market today.

The emergence of platform capitalism is inseparable from the rise of the digital economy. A platform is no longer a cyberspace, but a new organisation with its own laws and values. It is an economic model that is parasitic on people, like Uber and Deliveroo, who do not provide real cars and food, but employees, but reap huge profits.

The platforms provided by the internet giants rely on people to create value, but at the same time, these platforms can easily exploit people. The conflict between consumers and capital can also easily be transferred to the employees recruited by the platforms. ele, a Chinese food delivery platform, has cruelly chosen to limit the time its delivery staff can be on assignment per order in order to increase delivery speed and reduce customer waiting times. If customers' food arrives late, they complain about the staff rather than the platform.

With technology companies monopolising their respective fields, power in the digital sphere has never been more concentrated in the hands of a few private individuals. Personal data becomes valuable commodity , and it is difficult to determine whether users will become masters or slaves of the platform economy.we can get benefit from those media but we are also be controlled.
For example, platforms are being digitally centralised, and administrators can easily shut down your social media accounts and wipe out your voice. Virtual power and domination will eventually affect real life.
Just as companies such as Google, YouTube, Uber and others are covering the facets of people's lives, we are slowly unable to completely divorce real life from them. Tech companies are digitising society, an ability to reshape it, making us passive feeders for these tech companies.

Early cyberfeminism explored the relationship between women and technology. It was a tool centred on a non-Western and non-binary approach.

Machines, like women, will never be human in the way that men are. The default voice of most artificial intelligence is female, and the default technology is for men. Thus, the radical idea of early cyberfeminism was that women were cyborgs.

For me, cyberfeminism is an assertion of an anti-gender stereotype, an anti-male gaze. It is more a way of thinking that does not rely on traditional images of humanity, that transcends the biological and social determinants of gender, and that sees the self as intrinsically and permanently mutable.

In the past, If the government wants to supervise us, they will put us in jail. Now, they just need us to turn on our phones.

It means we don't have to be in jail to be watched.

Now the government and big companies can monitor us through our mobile phones, computers and social software.

We know there are people watching us from behind the technology. But we can't see who the supervisors, the prison guards are. We don't know when they're gonna be watching us. It's like panopticon.

Now, panopticon has been disguised as social media, gaming software, technology, the Internet. We will be lured into prison through social media and gaming apps. Watched by regulators.

It is a term that refer to the commonly recognised truth in a society during a certain time. It differs from country to country. Regulations and laws are the kind of regimes of truth. For example, in western society, the pornographic works should be banned for children. But in China, it is banned for all ages.
