Reflection and Reaction

This article reinforces the positive impact of comprehensive counseling programs and their implementation in schools. RAMP or Recognized ASCA Model Program is completed by school counselors. This designation to schools allows counselors to fill the needs of the specific schools creating greater success. The model further showed the ability to identify possible growth in math and English. However, it does provide a future path for various schools and grade levels as counselors develop with these types of tools at their disposal.

I found myself skeptical of both the testing process and its results. However, if in agreeance reflected with the results, I would keep the biases in mind as I grow and learn in the profession to prevent passing the biases on those who I come in contact with. Biases are always important to identify because as a school counselor many lives are affected positively and negatively.
