Over and over I am understanding that coaching our parents is pivotal to empowerment of the parents. You seem to be wonderful to ask reflective questions to the caregivers. Can you recommend any resources that can help therapists make this shift from hands on to a coach? I realize experience helps in this area, but would any coaching books or articles be helpful to us trying to make this transition?

What are districts putting in the children's IEPs to enable them to get yoga? As a PT at a therapeutic preschool, we are doing group yoga as a "bonus" in certain self-contained classes, when we have time in our schedules, but haven't been able to get it on IEP's. Any suggestions?

When you do yoga with a group of kids, is the group usually "neurotypical", or do you also do adapted yoga for kids with different/additional needs?

IEP's - when you do yoga, are your districts approving yoga sessions or are you a PT using yoga as your method for achieving the children's IEP goals in PT?
