Additionally, I was able to choose what toys I wanted to play with and get them out myself. I am still currently in this stage but even just a few years ago, I struggled a lot with my identity when it came to things such as where I consider myself to be "from" because even though I was born in America, after returning from Europe after nearly 9 years, I still feel culturally out of place.
