As he grew up he was drawn to old Hollywood movies and Anime like Naurto and Dethno. His parents converted to Christianity once they immigrated to the United States, and he became very involved at his local church. Throughout high school, Aiko became very interested in politics and news. Once he committed to LMU as a high school senior, he decided to major in film production and minor in political science. Growing up, Aiko loved japanese food, so when he arrived at LMU, he was very disappointed to only see pasta, burritos, and sandwiches at the Lair. When he turned 19, his dream was finally realized when he decided to attend LMU as a soccer recruit. Not only did he like kayaking in the ocean but he was also drawn to LMU religious affiliation. While on the soccer team, he never wore socks with shoes and his teammates made fun of him for it, so he decided to purchase socks on Amazon after being humiliated too many times.
