2.       The question marks and exclamation marks in English only go to the end instead in Spanish both at the beginning and at the end
 
Example: Hi! How are you doing? / ¡Hola! ¿Cómo has estado?
 
3.       In English the subject is indispensable in Spanish the subject is sometimes implicit
 
Example: I was eating / Estaba comiendo
 
4.       The noun in English do not have gender, indeed in Spanish the noun must always be identified with a gender 
 
Example: Ya comiste / a comida estaba muy sabrosa
 
5.       The Saxon genitive, which is the little that remains of the cases in modern English, turns any noun into possessive in Spanish usually do this putting a “de”
