This means that my classroom will have a set definition of core values, expectations, and honor code so that all of our students feel as though their values are being represented and respected by the entire student body. All students will be able to contribute to the classroom honor code so that they feel empowered and happy to uphold these values, as well as hold their students accountable to the values. 

In implementing commitment to gentleness, I will never raise my voice at my children or assume bad intent of my students. In turn, my students too will have to treat their peers/fellow classmates with gentleness in the classroom.
