He had eliminated the countries companies, and created collectivization farms to create more crops. Many farmers refused to join the farms, as the website also states  "the Ukrainian genocide began in 1929 with massive deportation of the most successful Ukrainian farmers; followed by execution of religious, intellectual and cultural leaders......."As many Ukrainian farmers refused to join the collective farms, Stalin ordered attacks to the successful farmers (kulaks in Russian) " He began to target other leader and people executing and eliminating their jobs. Not many farmer wanted to work of the collective farms because they weren't getting paid, and were in shared homes. As they refused to work on farms, no food was made and people had been starved.If anyone had stolen food from the farm they were put in prison, the website emphasizes " authorized arrest and execution for any citizen caught with food from the collective farm." This show that they had taken away there jobs and it ended up with starvation and death.

One of the many ways Ukrainian people were effected was the many people socially,politically, and psychologically distressed. As stated in the article “Ukrainian Famine” Planning D-Day (April 2003) - Library of Congress Information Bulletin  "The famine broke the peasants' will to resist collectivization and left Ukraine politically, socially, and psychologically traumatized." As the peasants refused to join collectivization farms the many Ukrainian were starved and tortured as this went on, the people were scarred. Another way Ukraine was effected, is that Ukraine became very rural as emphasized in the article Holodomor: the Ukrainian genocide under Stalin's order http://milione.net/en/holodomor-the-ukrainian-genocide/  January 31, 2018 "At that time, Ukraine was a rural country (80% of population)" As Stalin's try at collectivization farms the country became very rural be of collectivization farms , tons of grain was grown as also established  in the article "Stalin...... the famine and tons of grain were exported from Soviet Union". Lastly Ukraine was effected by the outstanding 6 to 7 million people that died of starvation. Ukraine and their people were affected during the genocide by social,political, psychological distress. Also the country became very rural, and around 6 to 7 million people died.
