         <title>4 Main Points </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Main Point 1</strong>: Three principles of UDL<br>(1) Provide Multiple Means of Engagement: this means that different students will need different activities and tasks to interest them. <br>(2) Provide Multiple Means of Representation: give the students different ways to learn the content. Teach it in a variety of ways. <br>(3) Provide Multiple Means of Action and Expression: allow the student to show you in different ways if they understand the material. <br><br><strong>Main Point 2</strong>: The more ways a student is taught something the more likely they are to remember it and apply it. This is because teaching it in a variety of ways allows the brain to make new pathways and connections. <br><br><strong>Main Point 3</strong>: Four Elements of Citizenship in the Classroom: <br>(1) Knowing that everyone is capable of thinking for themselves.<br>(2) Understanding that everyone is different in their own way.<br>(3) Knowing that each person is able to learn and teach.<br>(4) Being in an environment where the person feels comfortable to share. <br><br><strong>Main Point 4</strong>: When information is presented in multiple ways three things will happen.&nbsp;<br>(1) students all have different learning styles and more than one way of presenting it allows more students to understand it.<br>(2) it makes those connections in the students brains better and stronger.&nbsp;<br>(3) students will begin to understand how they best learn information. </div>]]></description>

It lists fifty different ways of assessing a student. This truly allows one to see that there is a vast amount of ways to assess a student and that no one way should be used for every student.&nbsp;It also breaks the list up into formative and summative assessments. Many of these assessments could be modified or changed slightly to allow everyone and anyone to participate or partake in the assessment. </div>]]></description>
