i still remember first hearing about you through sean back when i was still in grade 10, and since then, i knew that the ashs is a time in my life that i would enjoy because it is also a home for supportive, accepting, and loving teachers like you. while i got sad that you were my TOTGA research teacher last year, i will forever be in awe that the universe still let our paths cross and blessed me with you as lakam’s moderator this year.

I remember seeing you roam the ASHS halls when I was still a junior and just being so star-struck. The way you carry yourself as a person — living authentically and unapologetically — is something I look up to and admire so much about you. Maraming salamat po sa patuloy na pagsuporta niyo sa aming mga gawain, kahit sobra na minsan. At syempre po, salamat sa iyong paggabay at pag-aalaga sa amin. You inspire us to keep on pushing our advocacy, to stand up for those who are marginalized, and to set the world ablaze as student leaders.

When I saw that you our org mod for this year, I was horrified. Joke lang! Safe to say I was pleasantly surprised, because knowing you, I knew that you would not only be the perfect moderator for our advocacy, but also, I knew that you would make this school year for Lakam memorable. I hope you know that Lakam deeply appreciates you, whether it be me (your mod student 🥰), research students that you handled last year, or new students/juniors, we all deeply appreciate the efforts that you make for our org and your efforts as a teacher in general.
