One of the ways to maintain harmony is to establish family rules, my family has some rules that everyone in my family must share in the household chores; for example: my mother goes shopping and prepares meals; my father has to water the plants, and I have to wash the dishes. Second, people must go to bed by 11 pm and get up by 6 am on weekdays; On Sundays, I can sleep until 8 am. My mother asks everyone to have dinner at home together, except Sunday when we can go to dinner with friends or relatives. At first, I didn't feel comfortable with these rules because I wanted to be free with my schedule. But after my parents explained it, I realized that these rules would help us stick together and support each other.
* Our family has a rule of respect and courtesy towards the elders. this rule has been passed down from our forefathers generation and now up to our family generation. Guests entering the house must greet them thoughtfully, do not let guests stand while talking, must offer cakes and tea to make them feel as comfortable as possible. My family has some rules. *First, one of the most important rules in my family is that each member of my family is responsible for the housework. For example, my mother goes shopping and prepares meals; my father cleans things around the house in his free time; my sister does the laundry and I usually clean the house. We always exercise every morning because we want better health. My sister and I have to go home before 10pm because my parents are very strict. Despite so many rules, I feel comfortable and safe because I know that my parents want the best for me. *Second, my family is to exercise every morning. Exercise helps us to have a healthy body. We will become more and more flexible through stretching exercises. *Third, parents think that if they let their children play games too much, they will easily become addicted. As a result, I may neglect my studies and get bad grades. Another reason is that it is bad for my health. Sitting in front of a computer screen for a long time makes us susceptible to some dangerous diseases such as high blood pressure, accelerates the aging process, increases myopia, reduces the immune system. So my parents only let me play online games on weekends to relax after finishing my homework. *Finally, I have to keep my room tidy. When I was young, my parents taught me 'who knows how to arrange his life properly, he will succeed on his own in the future'. First of all, when an adult (aunt, uncle, grandpa, grandma) comes to visits the house, I have to take the initiative to greet them. Because it's a virtue like politeness, respect for elders.
Secondly, there are the table manners as follows, don't use the phone while eating, wait for the adults to eat before eating,...
Finally, all family members must engage in doing household chores. To be specific, my mom goes the shopping and does the cooking, my dad has to feed the chickens, water the plants, and take out the garbage every day, and I'll sweep the house and wash the dishes after every meal.

I'm very happy to know thay you'll be staying with my family for two months. We live in a four-bedroom flat on the 15th floor. You will have your own bedroom for your stay here. You asked me about our family rules. There are three important ones that we must follow.

First, my parents often remind me and my sister to show respect to elderly people or help them whenever possible. My parents themselves set a good example for us by looking after their old-aged parents and providing both emotional financial support. Second, if you have free time, you need to help parents with housework such as cooking dinners and doing the washing up which are some of the most common housework for teenagers. Those who live in the countryside are also required to work on the farm with their parents. Finally, most parents want their children to do well at school and so do my parents because of our bright future. Then we are in a better position to take care of them.
