John Sabraw is a self-proclaimed activist and environmentalist who works side by side with scientists in the field. Sabraw brings a unique twist towards environmental activism through art by creating art supplies through pollutants. In the process of remediating water ways, the pollutants extracted are used in the art to bring an effective twist on environmental awareness.

Alexis Rockman confronts viewers with landscapes that are vibrantly toxic and show an exaggerated wealth of toxicity. The topic of this landscape is the Gowanus Canal in Brooklyn, New York. This highly polluted waterway is imagined in a way that would draw serious attention because of the sludge that is profusely pouring in it. This combined with a mix of real and imagined wildlife shows the destruction of the ecosystem

Pam Longobardi was inspired by vast amounts of plastic waste that was encountered washing up on the shores of Hawaii. This sculpture is a representation of what the ocean bares to reap with all of the plastic that is polluted. This piece is a centerpiece, and the embodiment of what nature holds because of human influence and mistreatment.
