The Mayflower Compact was a set of rules for self-governance established by the English settlers who traveled to the New World on the Mayflower. When Pilgrims and other settlers set out on the ship for America in 1620, they intended to lay anchor in northern Virginia.

It says that ‘’The Mayflower Compact was an early, successful attempt at government by the people and undoubtedly played a role in future colonists seeking permanent independence from British rule and shaping the nation that eventually became the United States of America.’’

As we see in the map, Rhode Island is part of New England and is part of the economy of industry and agriculture same as the southern colony as well which makes them rivals because they will need to sell their goods to other colonies and whichever has the best agriculture skills will have more buyers. And will sell more. Rhode Island's economy was historically based overwhelmingly on industry so they have another source of income.

this is primary because it was written in is time.

This Rebellion was the first of the new colonies.
