Gerard Nathan Christandy XI-4/17

I had experienced something that is very memorable for me when i was going in a trip with my family. It happen when me and my family is having fun on South beach called "Dream Land", Bali. My mom already warned me about the danger of the sea current that can drag even a grown man into the ocean. At that time, i was still a children, so i don't really care and listen to my mother, i was so prideful that i think that i can endure the pull of the water current. So i stand a little to far to the sea, and then i see a big wave, before i could escape, the wave dragged me to the ocean and makes me spin around while i don't know where the current are taking me to. Luckily, my older cousin that are standing more far than me to fight the wave saw me and take my hand at the right time before getting hit by a big wave. Now that i think about that accident, i don't know what would happen if my older cousin didn't take my hand at that time.

Running Down a Steep Hill for a Cheese: UK's Extreme Tradition

UK has a very weird tradition called "Rolling Cheese Festival", where the consestant race down a steep 30° hill to get a cheese that is rolling at nearly 112 kilometer per hour. Even though this Festival has a large risk, people are dared to run down the "Cooper's Hill" to get the Double Gloucester Cheese. In 1993 Rolling Cheese Festival, there is 15 injured contestant, and 4 of them are having a serious injuries. Due to its dangerousness, this Festival is canceled in 2009. I think that this Festival is not worth the dangerousness, because it was to dangerous to run down a sharp hill only to get a good cheese, maybe if the Festival takes a place in a less sharp hill, it will be both more save and worth it to parcitipate.
