Je größer das platzierte Bild ist, desto kleiner sollte im Verhältnis die Überschrift sein.

Je größer die Überschrift (Headline), desto kleiner sollte das Bild im Verhältnis sein.

Sind Headline und Bild gleich groß wirkt der Aufbau eher langweilig; > das Auge weiß nicht wohin es als erstes, zweites oder drittes gucken soll (keine Hierarchie vorhanden), um Spannung aufzubauen sollte man Bild und Headline unterschiedlich groß gestalten.

Freiräume auf dem Papier belassen, damit das Blatt nicht zu voll gepackt wirkt.

Kontraste & kontrastreiche Farben verwenden; > z.B. für Hintergrund/ Schatten dunklere Farben.

Keine (hellen) Konturen (Outlines) benutzen (wenn, dann sollten diese dick genug sein um sich gegen die dunklen Flächen zu behaupten; siehe auch Farbenlehre).

Alle Perspektiven müssen stimmen (auch die der Schatten).

Das Motiv muss erkennbar bleiben (nichts Wesentliches wegschneiden / weglassen. Ausnahme; Aufbau von Spannung).

Weißer Rahmen um das Plakat lassen um sich von anderen (ähnlich gestalteten) Plakaten deutlich abzugrenzen (wenn diese z.B. auf einer Litfaßsäule nebeneinander aufgehängt werden).

Plakate müssen aus verschiedenen Blickwinkeln erkennbar séin.
