It talks about him snatching up people and eating them. Also, it states "in the darkness, i see clear as day" meaning that he has night vision, which is a quality that humans dont have. I think that he is a big beast that strives from peoples suffrage. But his weakness is when people overcome their struggle and figure out ways to survive.
