Her words and actions have taken a course in my development as a kid growing up. She has taught me how to use my manners, how to say please and thank you, and not every kid growing up has that kind of parent. She has told us to always keep our rooms neat in case of an emergency. And I am thankful for that because without her advice, I'd probably have a very messy room, and that wouldn't be good for me because I need to be able to find things I need for school, softball, and other things. When I told my mom back in 2020, she was upset. She was upset because I didn't tell her when it was happening. After that she's always telling me to stick up for myself. Now she tells me that if i'm ever being bullied to tell and adult, and if they don't do anything I'll stick up for myself. After being told what to do I also decided that I'll also stick up for others. I find this important because you never know what someone is going through. It's good to have parents that teach you right from wrong and influence you in good ways, and it's good because you can become a good person from it. I know not everybody can have this type a parent, or guardian and that is why i'm grateful to have a mom like mine.
