In the near future, smartphone usage will lead to an increase in the number of consumers who prefer to watch UGC on mobile phones. Gen Z’s attention is most effectively attracted by brand influencers, Youtubers or content creators who post authentic UGC. In my opinion, the future of e-commerce heavily depends on UGC for companies to boost sales as consumers are more likely to trust a company if it uses actual customers in its ads. Customers’ reviews are equally important as they trust recommendations from others, even if it’s people they don’t know. Yes because cinemas increasingly create an experience that cannot be digitally replicated. I envision film screenings being augmented by live performances or VR that provides a new exhibition for the cinema experience.
