El compostaje, abono orgánico producto de la degradación microbiana de materiales, está descomposición se lleva de manera natural.

Estos residuos se obtienen de manera sencilla y se producen a diario en el hogar, con el compostaje podemos reducir el volumen original de los residuos.

Con este proceso se retiene al máximo contenido de nutrientes presentes en la materia. 

Se obtiene un producto biológicamente estable de la materia orgánica que puede ser utilizado de abono en suelos. 

Con el compostaje se obtiene un abono natural.

Trae beneficios al ambiente ya que se genera menos aguas lixiviadas, menor impacto al suelo.
