He was born in Braunau am Inn, Austria. He originally wanted to be a painter but he wasn’t a good one. His father died 1903 a few years later his brother also past away. In 1903 he relocated to munich while there a few years later, in 1914 he was accepted into the German Miltary. In 1919 he joined into the DAP. In 1923, Hitler started the Nazi group. Prisoners were forced to work long hours to get small portions of food. Meal times at the camps were the most important and exciting part of the day.
