         <description><![CDATA[<div> - In November 1994, Robert Latimer was ultimately found guilty of second degree murder. He was sentenced to the minimum penalty(life in prison with 10 years of no parole.).<br><br>- The Supreme Court of Canada ordered a new trial for Robert Latimer in February 1997.<br><br>- In October 1997 he was once again found guilty of second degree murder.<br><br>- He was imprisoned in a minimum security prison near Victoria, British Columbia in January 2001.<br><br>- He requested parole in 2007 however he was denied, but he was granted parole in 2008.<br><br>- His parole restrictions were gradually reduced and in December 2010, he was released on full parole.</div>]]></description>
