1. A burden is a responsibility that is heavy and must be held.
2. Kipling views those being imperialized as savage devil children. He is incorrect in his description. He describes them this way because of the way they must live.
3. Kipling views imperialism as a good thing and I do not agree with him because the way people live is not by choice but by necessity.
