I think that a incoming sixth grader should know that not everything is easy for example the first day they should really pay attention becuase if you don’t pay attention trust me you be lost in your very own world which is bad becuase you will be late for every class they should also know that their is alot more pressure than fifth grade in sixth grade like for example you will have to wake up at 6:00 to get to school by seven and their is more homework more assignments and projects but their all pretty much fun and they should know that don’t always think projects will be boring cause all projects are pretty much open so that you can communicate with other people and it fun to but in general sixth grade is fun but also way harder

Looking back at my 6th grade experience some things that I think an incoming sixth grader should know that as long as you are prepare, like bringing a pencil to class everyday there’s no problem. But other things I think they should know is that if you do your homework everyday it could count towards your grade much more then tests do, and to not be scared because most of the people that your going to enter with you already know because they went to the same school. But I also know that on the first week of school you could get easily lost and don’t know where your classes are but then you get use to it and know where all your classes are.

Something that an incoming sixth grader should know is that the should really pay attention in class so they know what to do. I’d they aren’t paying attention in class they won’t understand the material if they don’t understand the material they won’t understand the homework if they don’t do the homework they get a zero if they get a zero it lowers there grade. They need to pay attention so they can get honor role or high homer role which is a very good achievement in school

I think that an incoming 6th grader should know that there classrooms for periods 3,4,5,8,9 are rigth next to each other because on my first few days i was all over the place asking everyone were a certain room is. Also they should know that grades are done way differently. They should know because at elementary school if you didn’t turn in your homework one day it was fine and your teacher would forget about. Now there’s a website and app for grades that go with you to highlands then to high school and if you forget to do homework its a 0.

Looking back on my sixth grade experience what I thing the incoming sixth graders should know is their scedual, where their classes are, and who their teachers are and how they act. They should know their scedual so they won’t just be roaming around the school not knowing where they are. They should also know where their classes are so they won’t be asking people where the room is on like the 5th day of school, they should know where their classes are by the 5th day of school so they won’t be walking into random classes. Finally they should know who their teachers are and how they act so they can get through the year pretty smoothly and not get in trouble all the time. This is important information because so they easily get around the school and not have a problem at all. :3 :) :(

What i think and incoming sixth grader students should know is to always be organized because being organized make they schoolwork so much easier for you. Another thing is to always be prepared for what is coming, such as lots of homework, projects, reading, and many more. Also i want to let them know to always pay attention in class, participate, and be responsible for your work because paying attention in class will help in all the test/quizzes when the teacher gives examples. Participating is really appreciated wether or not you get the answer wrong or right. Being responsible is very important because you are getting reading to be young adults and you should know what is right or wrong in general or when you use your iPads in class.

For example the grading would be different instead of 4, 3, 2 and 1 there is A+, A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, C-, D+, D and F. Also some of might be in different teams.

THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, THEY WILL SEE HOW THINGS GET EASIER AND THEY WONT BE NERVOUS OR SCARED ANYMORE. THEY SHOULD ALWAYS KEEP THEIR SCHEDULE BECAUSE IN QUARTER(THERE ARENT SEMESTERS ANYMORE) 3 AND 4 (THERE IS ALSO 4 QUARTERS INSTEAD OF ONE) YOU GET KNEW SECOND PERIOD CLASSES. ON CERTAIN DAYS LIKE ACE, YOU GET DIFFERENT 1ST AND SECOND PERIODS THAN BDF DAYS. ALSO, IT MIGHT BE HARD MOVING AROUND TO THEIR CLASSES AND SCHOOL STARTS AT 7 NOT 8 😭. ALSO THEY SHOULD KNOW THAT YOU DONT HAVE TO LINE UP TO GET TO LUNCH😃 AND YOU HAVE PASSES TO NOT GO TO RECESS.
