Po is embarrassed about his current life an is awaiting for his time to come. This part of the story is known as the status quo because Po has not gone through the change to a different world yet.

After the prophecy showed that Po would be the next Dragon Warrior, Master Shifu realized he became Po's mentor. Yet unlike his other students, Master Shifu had to teach Po differently due to his unique characteristics. This part of the story is the assistance because Po get help to train from an older and wiser mentor.

Po faces grueling physically, emotional, and social test that push his limits. He endures rejection from the furious five and tries to overcome his challenges to become the next great Dragon Warrior. This part of the story demonstates trials because Po must face challenges weather be mental or physically.

The Call

Po was locked out of the dragon warrior selection which caused him to make a make shift rocket chair to propel him over the wall protecting the ceremonial ground. This action caused him to fall in front of the person that was going to be selected as the dragon warrior and causes him to be selected as the dragon warrior. This is what led Po to becoming the dragon warrior because if this did not happen then Po would have continued to live his life as normal and he would have never went on the journeys and gained the knowledge that he has at the end.

Crisis

Po has to face the fearless Tai Lung. Po uses his special technics of his Kung Fu he has learned to defend the town and beat him. Po even created his own iconic move the wuxi finger hold to ultimately beat Tai Lung. This part of the movie is the crisis because Po has to defeat the mighty Tai lung, the Ultimate enemy.

Departure

Po departs from his old world and leaves the valley of peace where he has grown up his whole life to go on a journey. He initially departs to train to become stronger but he is interupted by trials that force him to learn fast. This part of the movie shows departure because he leaves his old life behind to start training to fulfill his position as the dragon warrior

Po completes the trials and defeats Tai Lung which allows him to proceed and collect the scroll that hold the secrets of the dragon warrior. He looks at the scroll and it shows nothing which he thinks means it was all a lie and there was never really a sacred scroll. He returns home to the valley of peace and tells his father about how it has nothing on it and his father reveals to him how the scroll is signifying how belief is what truly makes someone great at something. This signifies treasure by giving him a valuable life lesson on how to become stronger.

New Life

Po returns to his town the valley of peace with new knowledge and teachings. He is now respected by the citizens of the town and the furious five. Even tigress, a tiger part of the furious five who did not believe in Po, had a new respect for Po for his courageous behaviors in protecting the town and beating Tai Lung. This part of the movie is known as the result because Po had returned to the town with newly found knowledge and respect.

Resolution

Po has now returned to the valley of peace. He now teaches other his ways from what he once learned. Po's life returned to normal. This part of the story is the resolution because Po's life becomes normal again and there is a newfound peace.

Result

Po is returning back to the valley of peace with all of the knowledge that he gained through his trials and hardships of his journey. Once he returns to the valley of peace everyone thinks he is dead because he faced one of the most powerful opponents yet but they are all happy and relieved when he comes back alive and well. This is demonstrating return because it shows that Po has learned new skills and knowledge that he will use in his everyday life and has finally returned to his home town.
