He was a psychologist known for his work in behaviorism, particularly his research on operant conditioning and the concept of reinforcement. Skinner's experiments with pigeons and rats laid the foundation for many principles in behavioral psychology.

Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic approach focuses on the role of the unconscious mind in shaping human behavior and experiences. Central to his theory are concepts like the ego, and superego, which represent different aspects of the psyche. Freud also emphasized the importance of childhood experiences, particularly those related to sexuality, in influencing personality development. His therapeutic technique, psychoanalysis, aims to uncover unconscious conflicts and bring them into conscious awareness for resolution.

Sigmund Freud's theory says that our unconscious thoughts and feelings influence how we behave. Freud thought that our childhood experiences, especially related to sex, shape who we are. His therapy, called psychoanalysis, this helps people understand and deal with these hidden thoughts and feelings. A real life example would be when someone has a fear of speaking because in their mind they would feel like fearing to experience those uncomfortable feeling.

Jean Piaget's theory of cognitive development focuses on how children construct their understanding of the world as they grow. One critique or "small beef" with Piaget's theory is that it might not fully account for individual differences and cultural influences on cognitive development. Some argue that his stages may not apply universally across all cultures or account for variations in learning styles.

Fatma Abdullla

Jean Piaget

In his theory of cognitive development, Jean Piaget proposed that humans progress through four developmental stages: the sensorimotor stage, preoperational stage, concrete operational stage, and formal operational stage, Piaget's theory emphasizes that children actively construct their understanding of the world through interactions with their environment, rather than passively absorbing information. He also recognized that children may progress through these stages at different rates and may not always reach the formal operational stage.

Jean Piaget was a Swiss psychologist who created a theory of childhood cognitive development. According to Piaget, children go through four stages of cognitive development, each of which is defined by major changes in their capacity to understand and interact with their environment. Jean Piaget developed his theory in 1963, when started to became interested to find out why children gave incorrect answers to the questions needing logical thinking. Piagets theory stresses the need for prioritizing learning through experience instead of memorizing information.

The present entry focuses on eight central concepts in Locke’s political philosophy:

1. Natural Law and Natural Rights

2. State of Nature

3. Property

4. Consent, Political Obligation, and the Ends of Government

5. Locke and Punishment

6.

abraham maslow was a psychologist who worked on the hierarchy of needs theory. he believed that people have different needs, like food, safety, love, and self-fulfillment, and these needs must be met in a specific appropriate order. his ideas have been influential in understanding human motivation and behavior, Abraham maslows main theory is the hierarchy of needs. It outlines a five-tier model of human needs, arranged in a hierarchical order, with basic physiological needs at the bottom and self-actualization at the top. This theory suggests that individuals are motivated to fulfill these needs in a sequential manner, with higher-level needs becoming dominant only after lower-level needs are satisfied, he has had many theories also known as self actualization, which is a theory believed that anyone can be the best version of themselves with enough effort, by involving self growth, creative thinking, autonomy, etc. it is crucial for human development, humanistic psychology is the third school of psychology after psychoanalysis s the first school and behaviorism as the second school, abraham maslow did not use people with neurotic symptoms and monkeys as objects of his observation.

He made normal humans to observe personality which he later built into a theory of stratified needs.

shahad ali

dounia daoudi

mohammed hamza

rober hanoush

mohammed ahmad

abdulla abdullatif

The behavior of human can be explain by two main factor from a psychoanalytical perspective, the life instinct and death instinct. The life instincts or eros refers to the basic need for survival, reproduction and pleasure. It refers to the activities conducted to enjoy life and perpetuate it. The death instincts or thanatos stem from the unconscious desire for death that everyone has. Here we find the compulsion for self-destructive behaviour, although they are overshadowed by the life instincts. He also divided the mind affecting the the behaviour into 3 parts the Id, Ego and Super ego. The Id refers to the most primal part of the mind functioning mainly on the principle of pleasure seeking and instinct.Superego is the the societal morals and norms, and overall serves as moral compass. The Ego is the rational part of the mind, Linking the Superego and the Id, focuses on the reality and act in accordance to it, balancing between the most primal desires and the societal norms. - Oumarou, Reem, Khalid, Mohammad
