I like HEMP because its a good resource for inside the coop and in the run and it does not smell like wood shavings and it has antimicrobial qualities but it is a little bit more expensive but it last longer and does not have any dust and hemp makes it softer for the hens to lay eggs

Wood shavings and hey are the best nesting box materals because hey has a soft spot for eggs and hens can make their nest out of the hey.

I think wood shaving are good for hens and straw and hay pine and HEMP as no smell wood shaving are good at nesting materal for hens ,it will keep the hens warm shredded and ,they have to stay health .There can be ton's of pine tree so that can mean pine straw, yarn clippings and dead leaves for coop. dead grass clippings . chicken spend a relatively short amount of time inside the coop. They will roost at night.

I think HEMP! Because hemp is a good resource for both inside the coop and in the run.it doesn,'t have a scent like pin shavings do, is absorbent and has antimicrobial qualities.up front, hemp may seem more expensive then pine shavings , but it lasts longer and dosen,t have any dust.

Wood shaving is the best nesting box material becouse whenever it is derte you can take it out of the nest and change the wood shaving
and dert is a good nesting material becouse it helps it lay eggs and sand is and good nesting material becouse whenever ther is poop in t
you can get a cat scoper to get the poop out

I think wood shavings, straw, and HEMP because straw and wood shavings are good for the eggs. HEMP because it makes the coop not smell bad. Hay helps the chickens lay the eggs. Leafs are also good for the chickens.

Fall brings with it a source of free bed ding leaves . They provide excellent scratching material contain bugs and are absorbent when material first . Wet leaves though aren't a good option as they can become moldy quickly . Dry leaves can also be bagged and saved to add later if they can be stored in an area where they will not get wet.
