Some tips I will be taking into consideration are:
- Promote the event on the Community Centres existing website, on their homepage.
- create a separate web page for the event that the link on the community centres home page links to. This will involve liaising with the ‘web master’ of the existing website.
- I will put ‘share’ buttons on the webpage so that people browsing the webpage can easily share the event on their social media accounts.
- I will be taking into consideration accessibility issues and will ensure the webpage is fully accessible to those with impairments.
- I will create the webpage to be scale-able for effective viewing on a desktop PC, tablet and mobile smartphone device.

I’ll be carrying out the following:
- Creating a unique hashtag for consistent use across all social media platforms, which will increase participation.
- I will carry out wide promotion of the event prior to the event.
- I will create a Facebook page for the event.
- I’ll track the unique hashtag so that any mentions of the event can be responded to, which creates a two-way conversation.
