<title>My initial understanding of the teenage brain and risk taking was the concept of wanting what you can&#39;t have, meaning some teens may have the stereotype of drinking and doing drugs or other types of illegal things since they are all things that we, at our age are not supposed to be doing. Though this does sort of connect to your presentation, I definitely learned so much more than I had originally known. </title>

<title>It&#39;s made me think way more about my peers and myself and pay more attention to the risky behaviors I have personally made myself, as well as my peers. It allowed me to understand why we do the things we do. </title>

<title>The part of your presentation that stuck out the most to me was your slide with your peers experiences with risky decisions as well as the slide talking about the brain&#39;s reward system. </title>

<title>I think you made amazing points and suggestions for how we can help minimize dangerous risky behaviors. One thing I would add is an awareness around drugs and alcohol since when kids are under the influence of those things it is also a prime time for risky decision making. If they are more aware of the consequences and about how drugs and alcohol affects their brains, maybe it is more likely that they will understand the risk they are putting themselves in. </title>
