Congress has the power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imports, and excises. They also can regulate commerce with foreign nations, and among several states. <br>2. In Article 1, section 9 the constitution places limits on the powers of congress. These restrictions include slave trade, suspending civil and legal protections of citizens, apportionment of direct taxes, and granting titles of nobility. <br>3. Senate is voting against the aid of Saudi War in Yemen. Going against the president, congress can go against what the president wants. </div>]]></description>
