I will need to try using a Chromebook before actually being able to know exactly how the offline thing works....I remember when I was in college and saw computers getting internet wirelessly and doing three double takes and not believing it, as the laptops received by the incoming freshman class when I was a junior were equipped with airports to allow wifi, and now they are commonplace....I still cannot wrap my mind around how these computers can save anything into the cloud or check email while offline. This could be useful when students are home or traveling and may not have internet access. They could use it to communicate, work on assignments, etc.

Jennifer Hinkle - Working with second grade students I would have to screen share my computer and have students follow along on thier chromebook. It would also be essential to give the a step by step visual sheet. We could practice this more than one time. It would be best to do this in small groups.
