my family which helps give me purpose...my students who remind me that all will be ok...my country which although not perfect provides incredible opportunities...my job for providing me means...Hope--although challenging times are afoot I have hope that we will be better for having gone through it.

Today I am grateful for the healthcare workers and research scientists in my life. I see them working long hours, risking their safety, sacrificing time with their families, doing everything they can to keep the public safe and struggling to stay afloat in this tsunami. They are the truest of heroes in this time. I will forever be grateful for their selfless work. When life returns to normal it will be because of them.
