In the initial part of the discussion, the teacher can ask first the students if they have experienced or witnessed any type of eclipse. Then, he/she will ask them to describe it. After the students share their responses, the teachers will now then define what a solar and lunar eclipse are, and how do they occur. Following this, the teacher can ask the students to illustrate how solar and lunar eclipses occur based on the definition given. It can be seen that the infographic did not include the illustration of solar and lunar eclipses because of this purpose of fostering critical thinking and analyzation skills among the students. After illustrating, the teacher can point the shadows on the eclipses made and ask the students if they are familiar with parts of shadow areas. In discussing this, the teacher can slide in the famous El Gamma Penumbra which performs shadow plays and dances to give students ideas.
