I've had several kids get back graded work from me (that they didn't do well on), and then they email me saying that they went back and learned from their mistake.  A few have asked if they can redo the assignment just to show that they know it, even if I won't give them credit (but I of course do!).</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A lot of the difficulty with math is understanding the vocabulary of the different parts of a parabola. Vocab words such as vertex, x-intercept, directrix, axis of symmetry are difficult to apply. The students started to understand each portion when I started talking about taking a basketball shot and how that needs to be a parabola if you want the best success. </div>]]></description>
