         <description><![CDATA[<div>USA<br>Middle power distance (40) - The parents are very close to their children, but there are strong authorities and a big difference between rich and poor (they have a maid)&nbsp;<br>Individualism (91) - Richard wants the bus to wait for them, but the other tourists won't wait because they think of themselves.&nbsp;<br>Masculinity (62) - In the movie Susan doesn't trust the Moroccan doctor and she would rather be treated by an American.&nbsp;<br>Middle uncertainty avoidance (46) - Richard accepts the help of stranger, but Susan is still sceptic of being helped by strangers from Morocco.&nbsp;<br>Short term orientation (74) - Richard and Susan acts equally and they treat the children equally, which shows short term orientation.<br>Indulgence (68) - Americans are Christian and very much against racism, still Richard and Susan are a little racist.<br>JAPAN<br>Middle power distance (54) - There is a big difference between rich and poor, but Chieko and her father are very equal. There is not much hierarchy.&nbsp;<br>Individualism (46) - The father mainly thinks of himself and forgets to think about his daughter and how his actions affect her.&nbsp;<br>Masculinity (95) - Chieko plays sport for a team and her team wants to win and they think the judge is being unfair.<br>High Uncertainty avoidance (92) - They don’t like to talk about the mother’s death.&nbsp;<br>Long term orientation (88) -&nbsp; The daughter can’t see her life going anywhere because she is not happy now and might never be.&nbsp;<br>Restraint (58) - Japan: There are strict social norms for example at the dentist and the police man.<br>MOROCCO<br>High Power distance (70) - The father is very strict doesn’t treat his children as if they are equal with him. It is clear to see the hierarchy.&nbsp;<br>Collectivism (54) - The father is worried about their family’s reputation, and the son sacrifices himself to save his brother and father.&nbsp;<br>Masculinity (53) - There is some kind of competition between the brothers.<br>Uncertainty avoidance (68) - The father does not tolerate unorthodox behaviour.<br>Short term orientation (86) - The police want to establish the absolute truth.<br>Restraint (75) - The father is a little cynic and the childrens actions are restrained by socials norms.<br>MEXICO<br>High Power Distance (81) - The police shows clear authority. They do not argue with Amelia and her nephew, they are very commanding.<br>Collectivism (70) - It is a big wedding with a big family<br>Masculinity (69) - The nephew tries to solve the conflict by fighting it out.<br>Uncertainty avoidance (82) - Amelia won't dance with the man she thinks is married.<br>Short term orientation (76) - The nephew tries to flee from the police - not thinking of the consequence.<br>Indulgence (97) - At the wedding they just enjoy life and have fun.</div>]]></description>
