as this is an aurp, i strictly only write in third pov. the length of my posts vary depending on my muse. however, rest assure that i will never give one-liners and in return, i'd appreciate it if you don't give me one-liners as well.

preferred genres.

i work best with angst and drama, but i'm willing to write comedy and fluff as well. romance depends on the chemistry between our characters but smut is off the table as of this moment. please go through my profile and come to me with an idea of how my character is instead of empty-handed. i will extend the same courtesy by reading yours so that we can brainstorm together instead of it being a one-sided thing.

born and raised in gohyang, the rang household was one of the town's founding members and were a part of the government team for generations — every single one of them holding the secretarial role.

— her first steps —

on the eve of rang suho's birthday, a baby's cry could be heard from one of the hospital's labour room.

it was the arrival of the youngest member of the rang household — rang soojin, his first granddaughter.

from the moment she took her first breath, rang soojin was the pearl of the family. she'd grown up extremely doted on by her grandparents who tried to raise her with a silver spoon in her mouth. she was given everything and anything she wanted.

by the time she took her first steps, she was expected to repay the graces that had been showered upon her. she was expected to get good grades and was almost instantly put into practice to become the perfect daughter of the rang family under her mother's watchful eyes. (her grandparents offering some slack every single time her mother wasn't around.)

— growing up —

soojin grew up being surrounded by friends and family — being loved for just being herself. however, she finds herself being closest to mainly four other kids whose families were deeply intertwined with hers.

jang taeyang. cho sangjoon. ha iseul.

they were her closest friends.

in school and especially around taeyang, she was competitive as a result from having a tiger mom who was constantly breathing down her neck about being the best.

she would often try to one-up her classmates ~~(especially taeyang whom she'd come second to)~~ all throughout her childhood with one of the defeats leading to her fear of ducks.

"i'm late!!! i'm so late!! but god!! why the ~~fuck~~ is this ~~damned~~ duck still chasing me?!" the girl's screams could be heard echoing down the long street and if you looked, you'd see a young girl carrying a pink backpack sprinting down the road with a duck happily waddling behind her. it was that day that soojin would be late for school and completely miss the quiz that she was supposed to be taking.

her childhood was relatively uneventful and were the most blissful days of her life.

as soojin graduated from high school, she would move out to daegu for a couple of years simply to attend university and majored in psychology. however, her heart yearned for the company of her closest friends in gohyang and the familiarity that the town brought her so once she was done with her convocation, she moved back home to follow in her family's footsteps.

she would be elected as the next secretary for the government of gohyang (and coincidentally with her four closest friends) and there, she'd serve her town with every intent of making the town flourish.
