The magma pack was made to solve the lack of space to put tools and supplies while withstanding intense heat.
 
Reflective fabric and tough fire proof materials will take out the heat factor. The pack will have a safe oxygen storage so the person doesn't breathe in dangerous poisonous gas. The backpack will also have a large water storage to keep hydration. There is even a pull away shelter that stands up to high temperatures. But the bulk of the backpack is storage for tools. There is a big storage  area that is very strong in the top and a smaller space that will be hard to rip on the bottom for smaller tools. For longer tools there are snug sleeves on the unmeltable sides.
