I'm the newly appointed Deputy Head of School in the Wits School of Arts. One of my briefs is to champion transformation in the School, with a particular focus on curriculum transformation. My expectation for this seminar is to learn more about how decolonised curricula are implemented across different settings (disciplines, departments, geographies, etc). My animal is a rooster. This is an image of one I photographed recently at Great Zimbabwe.

Hello all! I'm new to education, recently joined the undergraduate academic team at Wits Med Sch.I'm challenged and resolute (daily) to be a part of true transformation at all levels of education. Ayeye decolonization, ayeye! I dont have a favourite animal, the first animal to come to mind was a phoenix: its magical, from its own ashes it rises to new life and its fiery colours are just so beautiful!

Good day all, I am an educational developer from CLTD but a teacher a heart. My interest in this seminar stems from the thoughts of the decolonizing project having a strong personal journey influence and how we are able to navigate curriculum transformation as a Wits collective (departmental, faculty, institutional level) through the lens of curriculum decolonization. I love the idea of an elephant who is considered to have a lasting memory which shapes current behaviour.
