Even though so many of us cried, It's a beautiful book that teach's us how to accept death. People come and people go, there is nothing we can do about it.

For example, in the book the author gave us many details about Little Ann and Old Dan and how they worked together, were inseparable and never left Bilie's side, even when he tried to trick them. These details made us fall in love with the puppies that grew into dogs and became our friends while we read. This made the emotional tie stronger, and the ending sadder in the book than the movie.

They were both good. I liked the move because we got to watch it in class, and I could see it and it was vary different then the book. The book was a lot more sad because I was imagining it my self.(I did not cry)
