The meaning behind this piece is a visual representation of the human brain. The handprints represent memories, the arrows and question marks represent confusion, and the black drips at the top represent intrusive and unwanted thoughts. This piece was a challenge for me because I don't accel at portraits, but once I finished the work I believe I grew as an artist and learned a lot more about drawing faces and blending.
