Spring Break Highlights: A Strike of Fun

The best day of my spring break was when my friends and I went bowling. It wasn’t a big trip, but it turned into one of the most fun nights I’ve had in a long time.

As soon as we walked in, the sound of crashing pins, laughter, and the smell of pizza filled the air. The neon lights made the place feel alive. We picked our bowling balls—some way too heavy—and got our lane. At first, we just messed around, attempting trick shots and laughing at gutter balls. But soon, the competition got real. I even managed a few strikes, feeling like a pro for a moment! The funniest part was when one of my friends tried to bowl backward and almost fell, making us all cry from laughter.

After a few games, we took a break to grab greasy pizza and ice-cold sodas. Somehow, the food tasted even better than usual. We finished the night with one last game, and even though I didn’t win, I didn’t care. The laughter, competition, and good company made it unforgettable. Sometimes, the best moments aren’t about where you go but who you’re with. I’d go bowling with my friends every weekend if I could!

The best day of my spring break was when I met up with my long distance best friend. We met up inside the cinema, scanned our tickets and bought our popcorn. There was still an hour left untill the movie started, so we exchanged with gifts and talked about the things we did since the last time we met. She was surprised that I even agreed to see this movie, because it was a thriller since I don't usually watch horror movies and thrillers. While we watched the movie, we shared a big bucket of popcorn. After the movie, we agreed that it was a very good decision to watch it, because we both loved it so much. And that was the best day of my spring break!

As the semester comes to an end, I want to make the most of my time. First, I will improve my grades by studying harder and finishing all assignments on time. I also want to spend more time with my friends, maybe by planning a fun day out or a movie night. Another goal is to try something new, like learning a new hobby or reading a book outside my usual interests. I’d love to get more exercise, too, whether it’s biking or playing sports. Finally, I want to stay organized and stress-free while preparing for final exams.

If spring break lasted a whole month, students would have more time to relax, travel, and spend quality time with family and friends. A longer break could reduce stress, improve mental health, and allow for more opportunities to explore hobbies, internships, or part-time jobs. It could also give teachers a chance to recharge and prepare better lesson plans for the remainder of the school year.

However, an extended break also has downsides. A longer time away from school could lead to students forgetting important material, making it harder to catch up once classes resume. It might also shorten summer break or extend the school year into the hotter months, which could be inconvenient. Additionally, some parents may struggle to find childcare or keep their children engaged for an entire month.

While a longer spring break has benefits, balancing relaxation with maintaining academic progress is essential.

My sister and I went bowling for 2 hours with her friends. We arrived at 13:50, and our game started at 14:00 and ended at 16:00. It was fun because we were there 6 people and we had a very good time even though I was the worst or one of the worst players in that friend group. We ordered pizza and we talked about many things and laughed about many things. The most memorable was the bowling animation. Then after bowling, we walked around the city and after the walk, we went to HESBURGER and then everyone went to their home. I realy hope we will have another day like this, but even better.

If spring break were extended to a whole month the potential benefits and drawbacks would be more pronounced. On the positive side, students would have ample time to unwind, travel, or take on personal projects without the pressure of schoolwork. This extended break could improve mental health by reducing stress, providing a much needed chance to relax. Teachers would also have more time for professional development or personal rest. Furthermore, it could provide an opportunity for students to explore new interests or engage in internships, volunteering, or other enriching experiences. However, there are several drawbacks to consider. An extended break might disrupt the academic calendar, causing delays in covering important material, especially for subjects that build on one another. Teachers could struggle to keep students engaged and on track when the break ends, as the longer absence might cause students to lose focus or forget previously learned content.

In my opinion if the school year had no spring break, it would make the students extremely tired and angry. The second semester is longer and needs a break, because 5 months with no break is very exhausting not only for the students, but also the teachers. If we didnt have a spring break i would be angry, because a break is needed to learn properly other wise exame results will also drop. No one in school would feel well. So a spring break is needed.

As the school year winds down, I can’t help but think about all the things I still want to do before summer. I’ve always wanted to throw a picnic in the park with my friends, where we can enjoy the sunny weather and just relax. I also want to have a movie marathon and make a list of my favorite moments from the year, capturing them in a scrapbook. Lastly, I want to get mt school friends some going away gifts incase we dont see eachother. It's sad to leave all the memories behind but also kind of relieving.Im excited for the fresh start.

I would like to, firstly, keep attending my private math lessons and continue to learn about the exam questions. Secondly, i would love to hang out with my classmates, because this is our last year together. Thirdly, i would love to be consistent with the gym, and maybe even learn the splits. And obviously pass my exams with good results, to get in a good school.

Before the end of semester, I would like to improve my knowlage in maths and other subjects I'm not that good at, and get better grades. I would like to start preparing for an exams and spend more time on studying. My goal is to write the exams as good as I can and try to get the best result. It is important for me, because I want to continue to study in my current school and I have to get good results for that. And I also have to find other alternatives if I don't get apccepted in my school. Outside of the school activities, I would like to spend more time with my family and friends and go outside more, because I stay too much inside and find new hobby or activity.

When the spring break began, she wasn't expecting anything new or out of sorts. She thought that thi break would be just like all of the others - short and boring. But on the first day she woke up to the sound of pebbles hitting glass. " wierd," she thought, " someone is throwing stones at my window." She walked up to her windo and saw a boy, no older than her. "Hey you," he shouted, "open the window!" Maybe it was because of surprise, or because of curriosty, but she opened the window. " What do you need?" "I need help! My cat ran away, and I can't find him anywhere." The girl was kind at heart, so she got dressed and walked out to the boy. " Where did you last saw him?" she asked. "In the forest." " Then we shall go look there first," she decided and both kids walked to the near by woods. they looked for the lost cat for hours, conversing, getting to know each other, but it turnes out that, to find a cat in a forest, is similar to looking for a needel in a hay stack. " This is pointless, we'll never find Governor like this," she boy said, sitting down on a log, tired, and on the brink of a breakdown. " Governor? What an odd name for a cat," she said decidedly, "Mines name is Lora." "A human name for a cat is way wierder!" he shot back. "No it's not!" "Yes it is!" As they bickered about cat names and then names in general, they had walked to a river. The forest was beautifull, lively, sun shining through tree branches. " Is that him?" she asked pointing to an orange cat on the other side of the river. "Yes, how did he get on the other side?" he asked walking closer to the rivers shore. "Probably that log," she said pointing to a tree falen acros, "But it doesn't look stable for a person." "Right, I'm not climbing on that," said. "Then I'll do it," she said, and caarefuly made her way across, bicked up the cat and walked back. When they got back home, he thanked her. They exchange phonenummbers, and talked all through the break. She was glad to make such a nice friend, who she could go on advntures with.
