I have decided to use the small hall setting on the reverb on my daw and have turned it up a lot to create a shoegaze like sound one of my inspirations for this sound are the band my bloody valentine as they put the reverb pedal up to create atmospherically sounds with the guitar. Furthermore I have added delay on the guitar to add layers to the atmospherically sound I was going for with this song. additionally i added a low pass filter and a high pass filter to make room for bass and vocals in my song

For my bass in the song I have decided to try something experimental. I have added reverb sound to the bass to create more atmosphere and make the bass stand out. I have also added eq to boos the low end and cut out the middle to high range to create space for other instruments
